Finding a Name
My first online gamertag was “Frag_Em”. I liked the name because it was short and sweet like “NoScopeSniperXx”. Like all good things on the internet, someone is bound to make fun of you for the dumbest reason. In my case, it was was my cheesy gamertag I made when I was 14 years old. “You should change your name to Zero_Fragz because you get no kills” -Every Random Teammate
Back when Flash games were all you could play during school, my brothers discovered a website that had not been blocked by the school network called NotDoppler.com. Aside from the addicting arcade games, this website inspired me to change my username to “doppl3r”. I loved this name because it didn’t have a stereotypical FPS word or meaning; it was simply “Doppler”. It was void of meaning, just a memorable word.

The Freelancer
After graduating high school, I went off to college to pursue a degree in Computer Science. My gamertag “doppl3r” stood the test of time for 4 years, and stayed with me all throughout college. After failing my first semester, I switched my degree to Graphic Design with an emphasis in Interactive Design. I merged my love of coding with design, and decided I wanted to be a freelance web developer.
During my last year of college, my teacher helped me build my very own portfolio website. During this semester, I purchased doppl3r.com and uploaded my freshly designed & coded website to the public.

The Employee
I graduated college, and decided to use my freshly developed website to help me land a job. The freelance road was very bumpy, and I struggled to find work that payed well. After a month of terrible income, I decided to find employment with an agency. I applied to a few companies, but my lack of experience was not very desirable.
My Dad helped share my website with people in his industry, and I finally got a call from the owner of an agency called Yano Creative. They were looking to hire someone who could do both design & development. I gladly accepted the offer and continued to build my name as doppl3r on Github.
