The grapple prototype is now complete, which means I can finally start designing levels for this new feature!
I decided to stick with the “multi-joint” functionality after adding the chain texture. The individual chain links look super cool with the rope physics, so I had to keep it.
Shoutout to my brother Josh for helping me calculate attachment points on the level. This feature allows the player to point the grapple in any direction, and attach to a wall if it exists. Prior to this update, the player could attach anywhere the mouse was lol
